MEET BRITA

Hello, and welcome to britamiles.com! I am Brita...the woman behind the music. I'm a stay-at-home mom, excited to finally follow my dreams! With the support of my loving husband and four incredible children, I am ready to embark on the journey of sharing my talents with the world.

My passion for music began at a young age and has not faded. Throughout childhood, adolescence, adulthood and eventually motherhood, music has always played a starring role in my life. Early on, I developed a love for the piano, singing, and songwriting. Combining those three loves has fostered a creative environment for my talents to flourish. From writing music for my seminary program in high school, to composing choral pieces for various choirs, I have always been excited to see where music takes me.

My crowning musical achievement, thus far, came when I was called to be the Music Director for the Ogden Temple Cultural Celebration in 2014. I was able to utilize all of my talents as I led more than 16,000 youth in singing original compositions, as well as other pieces. My most important music; however, has been created within the walls of my own home. The strong influence of music has been a blessing in my children’s lives. As I have given my time and talents to the Lord, my family and others, I have felt increasingly blessed. 

I am very grateful for the love and support from my family and friends, who’ve encouraged me to follow my dreams. I hope my passion, testimony, and ability to communicate through music will touch the lives of all who hear it. After all, music should make your soul happy!
